Our drills kept charged for hours. A few of us never swapped out batteries. This means a lot, who wants to stop working to wap a battery, it halts progress, right.

The DEWALT drill also has multiple speeds that transition quite nicely. Now, I’ve read a few reviews of my own and have read that some people were experiencing slipping. We never experienced anything like that. The multiple speeds come in handy.

Now, compared to newer modern DEWALT drills, our drill has a little less power. As we described above, the power rating is 380. Most of the newer drills are at 440 or higher. If you need a more powerful drill for work or construction, you may want to go with something more modern.

The batteries are also smaller. If you use your DEWALT drilll constantly, you’ll likely need to switch batteries. Again, we’re a little less than average. The DEWALT DC970K-2 18-Volt drill driver kit has 1.7AH while other drills average around 2.4AH. While a little smaller, you get a quality batteries that can last all day long.
