My Total Wireless Review

The last bill I received from Verizon was $278.33 for the month, from 2 phones and a tablet. I figured it was about time for a change so I talked to a few fellow truck drivers about what service they were using. That service was Total Wireless.

Now, I figured they’d say AT&T, Sprint, something to that nature so I was took back at them suggesting Total Wireless. I wanted to see just how good their deals was because a penny saved is a penny earned, right?

I like having my prepaid smartphone. For one, no hidden cost. How many times have you opened your Verizon bill or others to see extra charges? How many times have you went over your data even though you’re using WiFi at home? It’s always something, but not with Total Wireless, you only pay for what you need.

Total Wireless coverage is nationwide. Total Wireless plans allow you to refill your data as needed. If I’m running low on minutes or data, I’ll drive to the closest Wal-Mart and get it done. Total Wireless has a number of refill cards you can choose from.

Why Total Wireless?

Here’s the deal, if you want to keep paying a bunch of money for your cell service, that’s your call. I don’t like throwing my money down the drain. If you can still get great service with 60-70 percent less cost, that’s a win-win in my books.

I’ve never been a big fan of cell phone contracts. I’ve been with Verizon, Sprint and AT&T over the years and as you likely already know, you’re on the rack for a 24 month contract. If you want to leave your cell phone contract, sure thing. However, you’re going to be responsible for paying everything you owe in the contract.

With Total Wireless, I pay as I go. I still have my smartphone. The only difference, “I’m only paying for the data I need. If I need to miss a month, it’s no big deal. If I need extra data or minutes for the month, no big deal.

Prepaid Phones

Yes, there’s a number of different prepaid phone providers out there, why would you choose Total Wireless? Total wireless always has cool promotions, way more than the others. Total Wireless is also a nationwide provider, which is what I need traveling around the country.

Total Wireless pricing, it all depends on what you get. Again, one of the reasons I like using them is the specials. Pricing starts as low as $25 a month for a single line with unlimited data and text. You can also choose a family plan that will cover multiple lines for a low fixed price.
