Dell Inspiron i3531-1200BK Laptop Pros
There’s a number of different things we like on this Dell laptop. Sure, it has a lot of basic features like we see in most modern laptops.
I expected that. Look, there’s nothing fancy with this laptop. It gets the job done. It’s reliable, I’ve had it for years and it still performs at a high level. The reason I wanted the Dell Inspiron laptop was for speed and boy do you get plenty of it.
Here’s some more benefits I wanted to list.
- Great price
- Light weight, easy to move
- 5-7 hour battery life
- Very fast, well above average
- Easy RAM and HD access
- Runs cool, great performance
- Has number pad, most don’t at this price
- 4GB DDR3
- Intel Celeron N2830 Processor
- 5400 RPM
- Windows 8.1 is far, far better than Windows 8.0
Dell Inspiron i3531-1200BK Laptop Cons
-There are the obvious ones like no USB 3, no Bluetooth, no wired ethernet, no CD/DVD Drive. But in this price range I’m ok with that. I have an external USB CD/DVD that I used to install Office on it so that wasn’t an issue for me.
-Windows 8.1, is better than 8.0 but if you have never used it before there is a learning curve for sure compared to Windows 7/Vista
